Thiruvananthapuram: Applications are invited for admission to the Master of Science in Biotechnology (MSc Biotechnology) degree through the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council–Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (BRIC-RGCB) postgraduate degree program for the class of 2026. The graduate program consists of four semesters over a period of two years and is associated with the Regional Centre for Biotechnology. A stipendiary amount of ₹6000 in the first year and ₹8000 in the second year will be paid to the successful graduate students.

Eligibility Criteria: To qualify for admission into the MSc biotechnology program, the candidate must possess either a valid Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) score or an undergraduate diploma/degree, with at least 60 percent or an equivalent grade point, from a UGC-accredited bachelor's degree program in life sciences or medicine. The candidate also must possess a GAT-B rank and meet the category-wise cut-off established by the BRIC-RGCB to be selected for admission into the MSc biotechnology program.
