Bathinda: The Department of Burns & Plastic Surgery, AIIMS Bathinda, successfully concluded the two-day AIIMS PLASTICON 2026 conference on 16 July 2026, marking World Plastic Surgery Day with a scientific programme focused on innovation, skill development, and academic collaboration.

The conference brought together renowned national and international faculty, researchers, resident doctors, and delegates to discuss recent advances in plastic, reconstructive, hand, and burns surgery. The programme featured expert lectures, free papers and award paper presentations, e-poster sessions, and a cadaveric workshop that provided hands-on training in advanced reconstructive and microsurgical techniques.

Organisers said the conference served as a platform for knowledge exchange, practical learning, and collaboration among specialists, while reinforcing AIIMS Bathinda's commitment to advancing medical education, research, and patient care in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery.
